The TTQ Cashew Scooping Machine assists extraction of the kernel from the cut shell after shelling. Once the cutting machine splits the shell, the kernel must be lifted out intact; TTQ’s scooping stations and tooling speed this up while protecting whole kernels, feeding clean kernels forward to borma drying. It is offered as operator stations and semi-automatic units matched to cutting throughput.

Scooping is the step between cutting and drying that decides how much of your whole-kernel rate survives. After the shell is cut open, the kernel still has to come out of it — and doing that by hand is slow, inconsistent and where a surprising share of breakage happens. A scooping machine mechanises the extraction and the shell/kernel separation that follows it.
What the machine does
The cutter opens the shell; the scooper lifts the kernel clear of the shell halves and sends the two streams in different directions. Get it right and you protect the whole kernels the cutter just gave you. Get it wrong — or do it by hand at speed — and you break kernels that were intact a second earlier.

Sizing it
Scooping is sized against the cutter ahead of it, not chosen from a capacity chart. A scooper slower than the cutting machine simply moves the bottleneck one station down the line, and a scooper faster than the cutter is capital doing nothing. Construction and materials
Food-contact surfaces in stainless steel
kernels are a food product from the moment the shell opens, and mild steel is not acceptable past this point.
Replaceable scoop elements
these are wear parts. Check they can be changed without stripping the machine.
Adjustable extraction depth
different nut sizes sit differently in the shell; a fixed geometry costs yield on the sizes it was not set for.
Accessible cleandown
CNSL residue accumulates on everything downstream of cutting and hardens if it is not washed off.
Where it sits on the line
Before it
the cutting machine. Scooping performance depends heavily on how cleanly the shell was cut; a poor cut leaves kernels gripped in shell that no scooper will free intact.
After it
drying. Kernels leave scooping at 8–12% moisture and must reach 3–4% before peeling.
Alongside
shell handling. The shell stream from scooping goes to a burner or a press, and it is continuous once the line is running.
Integration
conveyor-fed in and out means the scooper is not a manual buffer between two automatic machines, which is a common and expensive mistake.
Operating practice
Grade before cutting, not after
uniform nut size is what lets a single scoop setting work across a batch.
Watch steaming
under-steamed shells grip the kernel; over-steamed kernels are soft and mark easily. Both show up as scooping losses that are actually conditioning faults.
Clean daily
CNSL residue is caustic and sets hard. Deferred cleaning becomes a scraping job.
Check scoop wear on a schedule
worn elements degrade gradually, so the yield loss is easy to miss until it is significant.

Whole-kernel protection
the value is not in speed alone. Whole white kernels earn far more than brokens, so a percentage point of breakage avoided is worth more than it looks.

it lets the cutter run at its rated speed instead of the speed the scooping table can absorb.
Hygiene
a closed mechanical path is easier to keep to food standards than an open table with many hands on it.
